Geodesy is defined as the Science that determines the figure of the earth and the interrelation of selected point on its surface by either direct or indirect techniques, while Topographic Survey is a technique showing contours and elevations of a tract of land in relation to an established landmark.
Geodetic and Topographic section is concerning with establishing geodetic control points in areas where no any geodetic points were established before. The team of Surveyors normally extend geodetic control points at different areas during village boundary surveys.
